I love how so many are saying that 'our season is over'. :ROFLMAO:
We're still only 5 points off the top four, there's 21 points to still play for. Yes, it was a bad day at the office...today, but we weren't playing 11 v 9 for long and as we all know, even 11 v 10 doesn't mean that much very often.
Shit happens.
I still back us to be there or thereabouts, Europe-wise, and still fancy us to finish above Palace.
I don't like the term 'bed-wetting', but f***'s sake, so many seem to need nappies.

I went out for a walk with the family this afternoon, I had very little faith we’d get anything today and, yep, there you go.

The rivalry, whilst not a biggie for me being an exile… well, ultimately it’s the two games a season where any player should be bleeding for the shirt… it’s not much to ask, two piddling games where you finish face down in the turf you’re so wrecked by your efforts…

1-3 at home, woeful.

2-1 away, insipid.

I’d like any of the players to tell me, looking me in the eye, that they gave it thier absolute all out there… whether the Coach is inspiring or not is largely irrelevant for this fixture.. just f***ing try your best, but… and here’s the thing, I don’t think any of them could honestly say they did… that’s why we’re all so pissed, so blindingly obvious who wanted it more… pathetic.

I’d hand them a mirror, but they’d just assume it was to check their f***ing hair…

Off home to count their millions, couldn’t give a SHIT.

I hope they’re embarrassed.

I’d be ashamed.

Spot on.
Nothing to do with Fab today.
Did every player really give 100% today?

I don't need nappies, I've got plenty.

It's more that when we lose, we lose badly, usually to nil. Our GD bears this out.

Hughton? Yes, probably. RDZ could only finish mid-table, five places lower than the previous season, once he was without Caicedo and Mac Allister.
You’ve kind of backed up my point. De Zerbi lost his two best players and then wasn’t allowed time to work with these replacements we have now

The summer recruitment needs to focus on defenders who actually have pace. Any team with a fast frontline must love coming up against our sluggish defence. It does not matter how many great attackers you have if the team cannot defend
I think we on NSC have identified the need for full backs and CBs with pace. The algorithm seems to suggest we need 10 midfielders.

Whilst I agree. RDZ got us into Europe and was sacked the following year after he was vocal about the club not backing him.
Absolutely not in the Fab out camp btw. But it feels like he tries to treat it like any other game which it isn’t. Potter was the same and we always just seemed lacklustre in those game too
I'm guessing the British SOH about losing to Palace hasn't been lost in translation, when he signed the contract.

Section A: Palace
Sub section D: Under no circumstances do we lose to them.

A bit rich when you chose not to even watch/follow the game.

It’s not much to ask, it’s only two games a season.

When we don’t achieve this though, because being realistic we won’t, can you come back and acknowledge please.
What, acknowledge that I said "we might not do it"? Do you know what I really really hate - Brighton fans who revel in us losing. There are a few on here who absolutely LOVE it and I can't stand it. I'm on the train back and gutted as hell, really really gutted after a f***ing awful week personally but I won't glory in a defeat - I'll just be disappointed.

Watching the Villa game now. Their forwards make it look so easy…2-0.

I think it is the lack of guile/effort by the players which annoys most. With the clock kicking down , against 9 men, how many times did we throw the ball into the box to force a chance. No , once again , we played it from side to side , out to the wings etc. Why not put Dunk upfront and put it onto his head and look for scraps ?? Try something different.

We'd be the same if we'd had 2 sent off albeit quickly followed by another making it 9 v 10! They deserved the win by defending resolutely. Having said that we didn't make it hard for them did we.
We are the worst in the league at breaking down the low block - 11 men or 9 men behind the ball, makes no difference.

I’m going through some stuff mate… losing my dad has made football a bit of a trigger… you know, for getting emotional 🥲

I have my reasons for deciding I needed to give myself some space.

I wonder what the players reasons are for simply not trying in two of the most important games of the season… ?

Hey ho, I guess we’ll never know.

You are confused. Anger is an emotion. Glory is merely a noun.
