[Albion] Turn Back Brighton or Die!

As it's Palace tomorrow, one for the older members. I remember driving up, or rather being driven up, to Selhurst in the late 70's and 80's to be greeted at Coulsdon bridge by graffiti which rather gloriously declared: " Turn back Brighton or Die!" Eventually they got rid of it of course but it was there for a number of years. In my mind, it was always an amusing landmark on the way to Selhurst, something which added to the frisson of the day and something I looked forward to seeing. I wish I'd stopped and taken a photo of it. Has anyone got one they could share? I wonder if our Palace friends might have one...

I think it was “CPFC don’t bother/bovva just die”. Not sure if that was before or after Palace had visited Burgess Hill town centre pre-match one season.

Yes I recall this as well but if I remember this was a secondary message. Perhaps the first one was at Wivelsfield
