It’s all about what Liam R is doing in that league now 3 points off Marseille he’s having quite a season.
Maybe one day he will be our manager and I for one wouldn’t be against it.
He plays Barco as a full on midfielder which I was hoping we would do as his passing range is good, star man yesterday.
Will be amusing to see the toy throwing from Todd Boehly over the summer when they have to massively reduce their investment in Strasbourg to meet UEFA multi club ownership rules. Strasbourg will also lose Petrovic and Santos who are on loan there (and won't be able to sign them either permanently or on loan next season) which could be a big loss, got to feel sorry for Liam in that respect as Santos has been a key player for them this season.

Let’s hope he doesn’t move Liam to Chelsea next season. That would be gutting.

Very talented manager but way too stubborn and principled, and throws his weight around/speaks like he's already achieved a lot more than he has. There's clearly a reason he never lasts at a club more than about 18 months usually.

Sounds like a certain Uruguayan we might remember as well...

Marseille is a particularly toxic club when things are going badly.

If he has the same bitchy attitude he had here when things went wrong he might find a stronger reaction from the fan base.
The thread about him on their fan board is quite fun.

He's cooked. They've seen through his bullshit sweet-talking and contradictions. He's a clueless demagogue and they know it.

Not coaching Marseille next season. Will be interesting to see where he ends up, Won't be a bigger club than Marseille.

Worth remembering that we had a very active FAB OUT thread on here just a few weeks ago.

They certainly seem to be on his slopey shoulders routine.

Given what De Zerbi is like, it's not controversial to suggest one way or another he'll probably be gone from the job soon.

I can VERY much imagine him ending up somewhere like Fenerbahce.

Almost certainly will be at Milan at some point, but I don’t think a thread on the southern France equivalent of NSC is going to show any truth.

Without going all James Richardson on Gazzetta Football Italia, Corriere della Sera mentions De Zerbi and Milan.

If he gets the Milan job, that really will be the litmus test of whether he is as good as he thinks he is and good enough for the top table.

Well actually, I think talent wise he is that good. The real test IMO is whether he has the temperament/soft skills - so far I would argue the answer has been a pretty resounding no.

I can only imagine how he will react to the pressure and the spotlight of Milan.

I'm not a massive De Zerbi fan (in case someone was wondering) but I really want him to get that Milan gig. I need three months of De Zerbi and Zlatan interactions.

Oh 100%, it would be box office.

Ending after 14 months with a physical fight in the boardroom.

14 months would be shocking, think thats probably twice as long as the average Serie A manager tenure.
It would be such a culture clash (already is with Zlatan). He's much more of a Inter person.

Sacked by Marseille in the summer, 3 months in Milano and then taking over a struggling Sassuolo in November or December.

If he's as addicted to football as he makes out, surely he can see that for him to succeed, he needs to wind his neck in a bit.

Although he is somewhat hamstrung by a selection of horrific forwards, I'm amazed it's taken until now for the wheels to fall off.

RDZ always is. And, in these days of microscopic re-refereeing of decisions to get them "right", semi-automated AI offsides, data driven player insights and "product" with "value" it's very much needed. So many real fans want some human entertainment and proper strops after a loss or total headloss at a win, a la Forest away last season.
