3,819 available now - most blocks have MORE tickets for sale now than they did this morning.

I think it's a combination of...

- Some STH not being aware they can put their ticket into the exchange at any time.
- News of the anticipated A27 carnage now spreading and many people thinking "I can't be arsed with that!"

Will we top 4,000 tickets tomorrow? Stay tuned, folks!
3,933 now with most blocks, again, having a few more tickets available than late last night.

The available seats keeping going up is amusing me, will it hit 4k by lunchtime??

If you can, that's a lovely walk over the downs. Along the river to bramber and the up past the Dyke. End up in the Swan for refreshments!
It is a lovely walk - but a bit more than the 10 miles going the boring route. I did home (Shoreham Beach) up the Downs Link towards Bromberg and then up onto the SDW to Devils Dyke earlier this year. I then came down via Southwick and back home. This was early January when we‘d had some snow. That was just over 15 miles. The following week I got. Lift back to Devils Dyke and did the SDW to Housedean Farm and then tracked back along the A27 - past the Swan - to Falmer station and train back to Shoreham. That was 12.5 miles. I need to do final bit to Eastbourne. I just need to work out when and how … probably break it into two walks.

but we need to find an easier way to just pass tickets to friends without having to go through some admin.
Sharing tickets is super easy. Takes 30 seconds.

The difficult bit is finding someone to share with though. This is not always easy especially for midweek evening games and this pool of potential recipients wouldn't increase that much if becoming a A+ member was cheaper or free. (they either already are A+ members - there are tens of thousands of them , and/or just don't fancy it for multiple reasons, or are going anyway).

For unattractive (or not United, Arsenal, Liverpool etc) evening games at least.

It can be as long as the sharee (is that a word?) is an Albion+ member and if there is an upgrade fee to pay. If they're not and there is an upgrade to pay you're looking at an extra £60.

Yes. As i said. The sharing bit is easy.

Finding someone to share with - less so.

The idea that if only it was free - the ground would be full. (putting aside the issues with that from a club pov which aren't going to change) then if only.

If 4000 committed season ticket holders aren't keen - then where are all these other potential fans coming from.

Wonder if Prince William is enough of a fan to do a midweek trip to the coast. After all, his journey is easier than some.

Just had a look at my block. The 'raw number' looks like a lot of seats, but when you see what's available you realise it's a fairly small proportion. There are a couple of 4 together, the odd three together or pair and lots and lots of singles. It is the singles I imagine that are the hardest to shift on the exchange but that could probably be more easily filled with free sharing. Surely we don't have over 30 people who normally attend by themselves but can't make it tonight in just one small block?

Quite pleased as currently there's a seat free on each side of my seats. Whilst I like my seat neighbours it would be good to have some extra room.

Losing out on new supporters with this closed sharing scheme.

That's the assumption - but really how many ? The club make tickets available to new supporters in all manner of ways .

There's tens of thousands of A+ members, thousands of tickets get shared, they sell out matchday tickets to non ST holders every match - many of whom are new supporters, ST holders can buy guest tickets and do in their thousands and share to new supporters. And plenty of fans buy exchange tickets. A few season tickets are now on general sale.

There's always this idea that there's someone just sitting there who i can turn into a lifelong supporter and a purchaser of shirts and burgers if only it was free to share to ANYONE - i'm sure there's a few but how many really ?

It’s normally when someone takes you to your first match you make the connection and think I enjoyed that.
Without the free share that’s never going to happen now.

Someone took us all as nippers and sometimes it only takes one game.
