Is he worth 50p now let alone 50m? It’s tough and rough at the top. Poor lad. Shame, so much potential but looks like needs a new level albeit lower one.

Should have been sent out to Sunderland or somewhere to bang goals in. Absolutely nothing makes sense about West ham loan at all. Crap stadium, needy fans and Potter (who didn't play Evan much) finding his feet in a new job. In a team that struggles to create chances.

If he plays like this he won’t even score in the championship.

Just saw a West Ham 'influencer' talking about him, he reckons he is 'challenging Kalvin Phillips for worst ever loan signing' and his viewers agreed. Apparently the miss tonight was a proper stinker.

I'm a bit worried about him tbh.

Utterly baffling. Did he just have a ‘hot streak’ like you see with a lot of youngsters who burst on the scene ?

He seems to have completely lost the hunger, bite and confidence since his Fulham goal at home in the Autumn 2023. Can't shield the ball, bring others into play and just jogs around. As another poster says at least CMS ran around a lot. Evan offers virtually nothing right now in the PL.

This, West Ham made no sense whatsoever for the reasons you said, baffling loan

That was never his game his hold up play wasn’t great, passing was average he was good at one thing scoring goals now they have dried up the lad isn’t offering much.

I hate to say this, but there’s more chance of Billy Gilmour scoring than Fergie at the moment.

Seems to me that Evan is carrying on from where he left off when we let him go. Disappointing to see Ferguson not step up and revive his career, he is trashing his reputation at the moment. Given the comments about effort you can see why he didn’t fit in with Fab.

I think he has ‘ruined’ his own career much before he got to West Ham.

He's certainly working his magic there. Lots of dreary sideways football is the complaint, with the jury on Potter very much out.

He'll be in league one with Nathan Jones inside 18 months (if he can be arsed to carry on)
