The key bit here is that the event also includes a two-hour after party set from an "international superstar DJ"

I know that, for contract reasons, the international superstar DJ can not be named, but there's a very well-known one who supports the Albion...

The ticket price also includes food.

Ahhh....

Jürgen Locadia then!

Not taking the kids mid week so will venture down and check it out.

Will be interested to see if I can even get in noting that ST drop off is about an hour before KO.

Lovely to have a nice place for drinks and food but what about improving some of the basics e.g. men's toilets in WSU. Two 20 meter queues to get in and then 4 deep for both walls of urinals. The sinks are in adequate and badly placed , need I say more.

The club has to have a plan for when the weather’s miserable and cold, surely? We walked in and straight back out post-match as it just wasn’t pleasant.

There’s no way it’ll stem the tide of train queues on cold evenings or in the winter months. If anything, it’ll be worse than when Dick’s was an option - if nothing else it was warm.
Long queue in the cold for a train or wait a short while in the AMEX Club Lounge with Martini?

Probably a stupid question but does the Amex space upstairs have its own bar/food service points? Ta
Got a drink at the bar upstairs fairly easily.

Asked one of the Helpers about ordering food when upstairs: was told I would have to order on the App then go downstairs to collect via the station-side stairs, then queue to get back upstairs via the other set of stairs.

I did not order food!

£65/£75 to watch it on a screen? Ffs. Just toss the stream off and sell Fatboy Slim tickets for that price and be done with it.
We’ve come a long way baby. From SKINT to £65 to watch your footballing heroes in suits on a tv screen.

No offence to Quentin but no frigging way.

Don't sweat it. I reckon about 80% of my WSU cohort don't bother to wash their hands. And the irony that if they did they'd have to extend half time as not enough sinks to actually cope!

It can only be an estimate as there's no defined fenced-off area.

Is there any limit on how far around the ground you can take a beer? You can't go beyond the beer forcefield heading towards the station, but I'm not aware that you'd be stopped if you did a complete lap of the stadium, pint in hand.
I think you may have started something there a conga around the Amex.....
