Not got the train up/back before - how much a of ballache is it pre/post match ? Drove and parked on Holmesdale Road last time, worked well (once we'd convinced the thin blue line to let us out into the badlands)
I don't find it much of a ball ache - held back for 10-15 mins & marched to Norwood Jn - extra trains stop there to pick us up. Probably easier / quicker than catching train at Falmer :)

Love to know when the kettling was for only 10-15 minutes!!! Not my experience.
In my experience the kettling is more like 20-25 minutes. Then the tedious slow march to Norwood Junction listening to some of our lot vandalising cars (F****** pathetic) and suggesting that “we pay their benefits” (Not quite so pathetic but still embarrassing).

I enjoy a long brisk walk so I walk to/from East Croydon station. Breaking through the Police lines immediately after the match can be problematical but so far I have ways managed it - Probably jinxed that now🤣
Every year I tell myself it is not worth the hassle then every year I go back for more🤪

My experience is that it's almost twice as long at that. Agree about the morons vandalising cars, an embarrassment to our club. As for the chanting, seems some of our lower IQ elements seem to think that everyone in the area is unemployed or that they actually support Palace.

Do you really sing “ we pay your benefits” to palace fans ? As they make there way to the slums in Purley, Woldingham, Sanderstead and Warlingham….or on my train East Grinstead.

And Millwall's finest think that we are all posh stripey-blazer clad alumni of Dulwich College or Whitgift.
