We could really do without him having to play 3 x 90 minutes in 7/8 days. Especially when the third of those 90 minutes is up against an in-form Elanga with no natural replacement for Pervis if he starts tiring.

FWIW he was my MOM yesterday, didn’t miss a tackle or a header and was still covering the ground after 130 mins. I was surprised he didn’t take a penalty though.

I assumed it was because he was too tired and he didn’t trust his body to do what it would normally do.

We’ve got to wrap him in cotton wool until the end of the season. If he gets injured or fatigued we are in trouble.
