Think i am now logged in, I cannot see the menus though. Not a user friendly interface to begin with, but it will get there. Patience required tomorrow, there will be gremlins I suspect.

I couldn't figure out how to register in the Albion app, but I saw someone on here mention the "everyday" app, so I just installed that instead and use Apple registration (Google also an option) so no need to type in details nor set up a password etc.

This is it for iPhone:

Did the same (or Mrs P did) worked straight away.

Horrific user journey to register via the Albion app (as others have said). Lots of ambiguous messaging (the work email thing … 🤬 ) and is a 12 character password really necessary. Expect a lot of confused folks staring at their phones tomorrow trying to order a beer! Makes you wonder if anyone actually tested it before going live.

I have been using Chase as our main card because they were giving 1% cash back. But they have been reducing the cash back maximum for a while and now have restricted which purchases apply.
So, I looked around for a decent alternative. Found that the best option is an amex card ! No fee card which is giving 5% cash back for five months before dropping to 0.5% to 1% depending on total annual spend.
So, I certainly wouldn't have got an amex card just to get upstairs in the terrace but now will have one anyway...
So with 5% cash back and 10% discount on matchday purchases, you’re effectively getting Amex beer at Wetherspoons prices. Just head over to Falmer village whenever you need a piss for the full spoons experience.

5% back on Amex Matchday alone will pay for a nice summer holiday

The bit I'm confused about is I'm checked in at the venue. Which presumably means I can order. But what if I can't get in? It feels like it's missing the geo location but so it knows your in. Like a petrol station app or similar

I would simply not order until you're in and seated.

You’ll also need to leave your beer for about 4 months, to go off, before drinking it.

I think you would need 50% cashback
Controversial opnion but considering the average price of a pint on my last night out in Brighton I think the beer prices at the Amex are very reasonable.

Same for me. Maybe I've got an old version (android) of the BHAFC app loaded or something but can't find a regjstration option anywhere. But as you say the 'everyday' app works just fine. Or at least if I enter my gmail address it manages to somehow link to my google wallet, and I can see the menus, have the option to order food etc. Remains to be seen of course whether the food appears as ordered, but the signs are promising. Might give it a trial run initially tho, order something cheap(ish) like a Mars Bar, rather than risk any technical glitches on a major outlay like a £16 burger 😄

The app is just one of a few options to pay though isnt it? You could use that, or use the touch screens inside the terrace, or scan the QR code with your camera phone (which I assume is visible inside, & a system lots of restaurants use), or you can just queue at the bar like normal.

It took me a while…..but in the club app click the down arrow at the top, then click on the words ‘American Express Stadium’. This should take you a new screen, ‘welcome to the fan zone’. At the bottom various options, one being The Terrace. As first time user it brings up login/registration screen. Your login for BHAFC doesn’t work. I used login with Apple ID but login with Google also an option if you can‘t be bothered to register like me.

Once in, you have an ‘order ahead’ option. But on the burgers option I only have the 2 patties option for £13 not the the 3 patties for £16! I assume a fuller menu will be available once actually in the place.

That has to be one of the most painful registration processes I’ve seen for a while.

Menu items that are hidden or hard to find, text prompts that are misleading or not relevant.

Not good enough for an app in 2025.

And to top it off, it keeps failing to register my AMEX card in the online wallet and returns this user friendly message….

‘failed to get setup_intent clientSecret. Please refresh the page.’

PBOBE OUT!!

I’ve always wanted to attend a Eurovision party at an empty football stadium, and now my dreams have come true.

Thank-you, BHAFC.

Cheers for your help, appreciate it, but this is where I fall at the first hurdle: I don't get a down arrow at the top. There was something in the Argus about clicking on the club crest at the top, but if I do that it simply 'greys out' the rest of the screen. Either way I'm going nowhere. Nevermind tho, got the 'Everyday' app loaded now, and none of that pesky registration/12 digit password malarkey
