With all of these new Amex cards there might well be more space downstairs than up in the rarified atmosphere of the mezzanine.

What impact, if any, will this have on the concourses both pre-match and post-match? I'm thinking staff numbers and whether less food is put on etc as well as post-match opening times.
My best guess is not a lot.

STHs will mostly do their normal thing, but have the occasional nose around. The occasional visitor will be all over it.

My main meal of the day on Saturday will hopefully be that £16 burger though.

A question that's probably been answered, but is the amex holders VIP section kind of separate from the general capacity? By that I mean that if there's a queue to get in but the amex area isn't full will I be able to swan in like I'm in an early 00s RNB music video?

Agreed but it's not quite the same though. I agree that £16 for a burger is about the same as I'd pay in a pub in Brighton, however in a pub in Brighton I'd expect:
It to be cooked fresh from quality ingredients
Come on a plate with cutlery
I'd sit at a table
Be delivered to my table
Be cleared away
If the Terrace experience is like that then £16 is OK, I'm highly doubting it though.

Concourse food is similar in price/quality/experience to a fast food take away burger joint, which is fine.

That's nonsense. If it was at a pub in Brighton it would come served on a CHOPPING BOARD, with chunky chips in a MINIATURE BUCKET.

And don't forget the 5 chunky chips in that tiny bucket will be 'double cooked' and the even smaller pot of ketchup will cover the end of one chip if you are lucky :(

Don’t forget the artisanal bun.

Where on earth does £16 come from?

On the app touch the arrow next to the club badge at the top of the screen. Select American Express Stadium and the page will reload.

The Terrace is an option at the bottom of the screen. You may need to register to see all the menus.

Select order ahead and If you are asked for a code enter 2025. This should bring up all the different food outlets.

Frankly, anyone entrusting Sodexo with £16 for a burger fully deserves the pre-warmed sweaty disappointment in a greasy box that will inevitably follow.
