I think that’s always been on the form but it was possible to leave it blank. I’ve certainly never filled it in. Maybe mandatory now?
I think it was either fill it in or tick “I have no online presence”. I never post on Facebook Twitter or Instagram so not a problem anyway.

I have just applied for ESTAs and you have to list all your social media accounts.
Blimey, I had no idea. I must confess I have no plans to go to USA soon as the exchange rate is still poor ( I still have the receipt from buying golf clubs in Las Vegas in 1997 at $2\£1 😢) and I think there are other places to visit at much better value (SA,Japan etc) but Trump is not helping his tourist industry.

Mrs WS went to the US numerous times in a previous life and loved it. We've been together nearly 20 years and as yet she's not managed to persuade me to go. I never have, don't and never will, want to go to such a backward country, even more so now, when there are far more exciting places in the world to visit that aren't populated by ignorant Americans.
About sums it up!

I've been to over half of the 50 US States.

I won't be adding to that total for a while.

Easy to say that at the moment, as have nothing booked - so nothing to cancel.
I just counted and I have visited 18 in total.

New immigration policy requires all U.S. Consulates to review applicants' public social media history, past e-mail addresses and recent phone numbers when adjudicating visa applications.

Same in Germany and many other countries. https://www.statewatch.org/news/202...al-media-investigations-into-visa-applicants/

And you don't have to give your socials on the esta form.

Lots of scare mongering on this thread,!!

I have been to the USA about a dozen times over the years, including five house swaps with the most wonderful people. Also, one of my best friends emigrated to the States many years ago and have stayed with him and his family.
However, now my stomach churns when I think of Trump, Vance and their entourage. We were all hoping that the USA would deal with Ukraine with passion due to them being the wrongfully invaded. However, all we see is that poor country being used as a DEAL to see what Trump can rape from the country along with his new best buddy Putin.
I have not spoken to all those I know in USA as I dread them saying they are backing Trump. I will not visit USA again unless positive things happen shortly.

The option to select "Yes, I wouldn't got to the US regardless of who is in charge" is missing

For a self proclaimed palastinian with a green card this doesn't seem like the smartest article to write....
Isn't the States meant to be the land of the free and freedom of speech ? ..... oh
