Russell does a great job I have to say, always an enjoyable listen.Agree with this. Brighton Rock is great, especially the match day specials. And I enjoy TogetherBHA as well, as they don't take things too seriously. Both highly recommended.
I’ve been listening to the rerun of the 3rd book which I missed first time round. It’s become a weekly treat when out for a run. Shame about the demise of Quickly Kevin but I guess they finally ran out of stuff to say about the 90s. I haven't bothered with the successor. Not as good without Josh W.I'm listening through Striker again at the mo
Love him. He taught me to drive don't ya know. My favourite is hearing him getting progressively more pissed as the show goes on. Wonderful stuff.Russell does a great job I have to say, always an enjoyable listen.
I wasn’t aware of some of the ones mentioned. I’m surprised that the participants don’t update NSC with news of new episodes and a link. Or maybe they do. Anyway I’ll check ‘em out. Thanks.Love him. Also enjoy Seagulls Social and Talk Seagulls etc, we've got some great podcasts.
Does this mean that Wilson and co are breaking away permanently from the Guardian Football Weekly? There have been plenty of threads on NSC about individual podcasts but I thought it worth trying to bring these strands together. First of all, a shout out for a new podcast called Libero currently featuring Jonathan Wilson, Rory Smith and John Brewin. Still a bit chaotic but all the better for it as there are no annoying ads. The current episode features a chat about Brighton and the new phenomenon of 'middle class' Prem clubs. It’s my favourite format for 'serious' football pods - a group of middle-aged journos from the less tabloid end of the media spectrum, chatting earnestly and not agreeing all the time.
