Phil Foden is one of those players who is clearly very good but I struggle to remember him ever doing anything if note in an England shirt. Apparently he has 4 goals, couldn’t tell you about a single one of them.

When not surrounded by a petro dollars who’s who of world football, his game is average to rubbish, it’a really gone downhill the last 18 months. He kills attacks.

“A suspension he picked up live on ITV when Newcastle played Brighton” is a terrific effort from Matterface at crowbarring the name in

Don’t understand why the South American qualifiers have to be played on the Wednesday, surely they could play on the Monday or even the Tuesday, which would give the players a bit more recovery time
Technically they are being played on the Tuesday, local time

It doesn't matter who the manager is, or the players. England will always be the same. Witless in possession, plodding and conservative. 48 years I've wayched it now, and a few years with Gazza in the team apart, it's always the same.

I also just don't understand Declan Rice. Never have.

I mean, our recent tournament record hasn't been that bad?

I'd amend that slightly. He was excellent last season and IIRC got about 20 goals in the PL. He was dire in the Euros, and has been even more pony this season. No idea why he got picked.

I should’ve clarified …. for England.

When surrounded by the cheating world’s best XI at Project Longbow, he excels. Normally.
