It depends on whether you consider Wordle to be a test of your lexological skills only, or that, plus a test of memory. If the former, consulting a previous word list would seem to be acceptable, if the latter, then it should be unacceptable. In the absence of any established playing rules, it's down to individual choice, I guess.

Yep, individual choice I agree. Makes it much easier to check a previous answer as you guess though. I have the memory of a Goldfish!

Awful form continues… need to break out of this slump… maybe SLUMP should be my first word? Btw, I was not aware that “used words lists” were approved. Is there an official NSC laws of Wordle?

I don't 'approve' of previous words lists. It takes the luck out of the game. I was trying to be 'clever' with my 2nd go today & didn't use the obvious last 2 letters in the correct order. When that didn't come to fruition it was a case of 'oh b**locks' & just putting whatever letter came into my head first. Using the game as a way to test my memory would be pointless as I already know my memory is s**t.
