Yes, usually a week or 2 before the season starts. Certainly not until at least the fixtures have been released.

I know there are periodically questions/opinions offered on here about the existence and length of the season ticket waiting list, but this would seem to indicate that the waiting list couldn't have been THAT long at the moment...

I'm guessing all the rule changes, re taking away tickets if they're not used as forced some to give up their tickets. Hopefully it'll mean that those that have multiple tickets so they can take mates to watch Man U or Liverpool games only and leave them empty for the rest of the games have given up the extra tickets before they are taken off them.

In practise I don’t believe this happens often. I haven’t used my ST since October. I’ve not listed on the Exchange everytime, and it’s certainly not sold on the times I have. I haven’t been so much as emailed about being a better fan etc
