I couldn’t be more excited. Travelling back from Andalucia for both the Forest and Villa matches. Haven’t been to the Amex for about4 seasons. We are going fell those ‘tricky trees’. The Spanish commentators love that nick name. Personally, I had never heard it before.
Smiling to myself as when I first started watching, it cost 2/6, which included return train fare from Burgess Hill, programme and entrance to the ground. Going to cost me about 2k - pie and pint £125 quid x 2, plus hotels, flights etc.
Much better to spend my kid’s inheritance, neither of whom have kept the faith, than to leave it to them. Perhaps it was being dragged around the country to numerous 3rd division grounds, that put them off.
