Mansfield Woodhouse, actually.
Technically we are still the holders, winning it at the final attempt in 1958 after playing in every season of that competition. I'm pretty sure that if we had been allowed to retain it then I would have heard about it by now. Maybe the two trophies were just reallocated to the newly formed Third and Fourth Divisions, perhaps with winners' plaques removed?

Who knows :shrug: I’m fairly certain the Championship winners trophy is the same one the old Division 1 winners lifted though ??? If that helps?

I think it might have been left under a huge flag in a hut next to the Withdean stadium and some builders threw it away

I went on the stadium tour a couple of years ago. There is a (very modest) trophy cabinet which, iirc, has no recognition of the 1910 charity shield, nor the 1958 title.
