Deeney's probably endeared himself to our friends up the road this week with his selection of Munoz, but it's never that simple with Troy.

"Scored a wonderful header in Palace's 2-0 win..."

It was even more wonderful when you consider that he scored his header with his right foot.

A lot is said about big bids for Baleba I can see them coming for Jack. Consistently good and can play different positions.
I can't say what TB is thinking but from my perspective, it would be a bit strange to shell out 200m (which is a major move away from our previous business model) to improve the squad only to sell some of the lynchpins of the squad. Let's hope neither wants to move as we have a policy of not standing in the way

Brighton boy. Much more complicated from both sides.

Agree, we will go very great lengths to keep him around, though obviously there's a limit to how good he can get without ending up in one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Since he is 19 and already have enough quality to make him a regular in the England squad, this could happen. But I think he'll stay at least another 3 years or so with us.

A regular in the England squad? Please remove the blue tinted specs and re-assess.

He's exactly what England has been missing. A calm and intelligent defensive player who also makes selfless runs to break the otherwise predictable patterns of English players.

Two seasons in a row, we've completely collapsed when Jack was missing. Don't underestimate him.

Kobbie Mainoo has 10 caps already and has been to a major tournament with England. If you had the option of those two, who would you currently pick to play centre midfield?

People seem to think you have to be a worldbeater to play for England. It brings to mind Norm MacDonald's line about hosting SNL after being sacked from it 'I haven't gotten funnier, the show has gotten really bad'.

We're getting a bit ahead of ourselves with Hinshelwood here. He's a very good player, and I think that he's technically the best RB we've ever had in the current top-flight era - although Veltman's experience and shitehousery probably gets him the nod if everyone's fit. His injury record over the last 2 seasons isn't great however, so let's hope it isn't a precursor to a frustrating career.

"He scored a great free-kick against Man City, and was also excellent attacking in that game, getting past the Man City players at will. He was excellent."

I tell my 10 year old not to use the same adjective twice in a piece of writing because it looks like you have a small vocabulary. But here we have "excellent" twice in 28 words.

Similar vocabulary range to Trump, except Trump will use VERY in front of the repeated word.
