big fan of eating in at Kambi's, Western Road near Norfolk Square - little plates of tasty Lebanese stuff. Tabouleh is great.

Now there's a thought, I do like Kambi's. Fanoos, Kambi's or Taste of the Sahara

Seriously though - https://colosseohove.co.uk/ - decent Italian at a very good price and Billy is always very welcoming - just make sure you book as they are always busy.

Mein host Billy was camped out at our table, followed by a large bill for a low budget location.

Another vote for Semola. Was there last night (having not been there for 2-3 years).
Menu has changed quite a bit, prices have gone up (as they have everywhere) but we all had superb food in a nice setting with good helpful and attentive staff.

Constantinople, opposite Norfolk Square, is a good family run Turkish place. Excellent value, particularly for the dinner deal that includes several starters.

Had a nice scoff in Las Iguanos last year (North Laine area). I love mexican.

I think they do some ridiculous midweek deals on grog as well, for a set price. All you can glug for 2 hours, or something.

Always advocating for Boundary Road: Fanoos is a superb BYO

had my 50th in there last year, I paid for all the food and everyone bought what they wanted to drink with them , great food as always.

Grace went when it first opened but it seems it has improved since then. I visited last summer and our party all enjoyed our food.
