Ha, watching the Birmingham match in the concourse my daughter asked about the next rounds who plays in the FA cup etc etc, I explained all the English clubs, league, non league and a couple of welsh clubs etc, etc…
She enquired why are Birmingham in the cup then, turns out my 15 year old daughter thinks Birmingham is in Scotland…

She takes F’kn geography 😳
Varndean…..
Years ago, I worked with a lad who thought Sunderland was a foreign country. At the time, we mocked him mercilessly but with hindsight he might have had a point.

That’s the problem she is, she’s been to Iceland, America, Belize, Thailand, Japan, all over Europe, we have visited family here from Manchester, Cumbria too the Channel Islands etc….
I’ve heard that school does some decent trips. ;) Furthest I went was The Roman Palace in West Sussex:moo:

Bit of a sweeping generalisation that 😂

I’ve met some pond life Chelsea fans, I’ve also met some really top fellas. Can replace Brighton with Chelsea in that sentence too.
Of course it is but that's how you judge a fan base. You can always find individual fans of clubs who are alright.

But it's how they turn up en mass one the night which shows their character. And they are always repulsive.

Leeds are the same.

I really f***ing detest that club. Just everything about it is awful.

I would far, far rather go for a beer and talk football with a Palace fan than a Chelsea fan. They are literally everything that is wrong with football.

I may have just had a rant on this very subject on the other Chelsea fans thread

Saw a couple of fat knuckle draggers shoving a bloke in the mill road queue, once everyone hurled abuse at them they walked off.
2 minutes later some coked up, Burberry clad chav walks past asking if our boyfriend knows we're here and all the other hilarious, never been heard before homophobic tripe.
They're the wankiest fans in the league, proper thick Danny Dyer wannabes.
that's unfair on Danny Dyer, he's off blowing bubbles, or whatever Hammers do during FA Cup weekends.

I recall a ‘celeb’ from Essex not knowing where Suffolk was. When it comes to Geography, youngsters are as think as mince.
Pretty sure if you asked Cole Palmer the same question, he'd struggle.

Fabulous footballer: thicker than a whale omelette.

100 per cent this and I will quote the “Chelsea supporter “ at my work after last seasons home game, me have you ever been to the bridge ? “No”, “but I watch all the games on tv” me I bet you can’t even point to where Chelsea is on the map of the uk, so what’s the nearest city to Chelsea ? “Leeds it’s near Leeds”
😂

I'm quite sure we have our own idiots and by curious experience they always seem to come out in force at Fulham away. However, last night their young brigade of pissed up yoof were out in force.

Pre match about 30 mins before kick off I followed a bunch of them round the back of the West Stand. At each entrance to the stadium they stopped and launched into a chorus along the lines of " wankers in the West 1 " entrance etc. And all this to largely families queuing to get in.

The Avenue then Maloncho
At least we made it to Dieppe and filled our boots with French bangers which were actually Chinese 😆

In 1979 I bought a flick knife, Mr Clarke saw it cool as you like said, “you can’t have that” and confiscated it. That was the end of it.

It would be an international incident nowadays.

There is also Astrid, although I believe she's from Portsmouth originally.

Of course she is.
