Maybe not that a well known venue but I’ve never had a bad breakfast at The Chalet Cafe in Cowfold.

Rushfields near Poynings ... today I had the best sausage bap, ever. A fresh roll, filled with 3 or 4 huge bangers. Delicious.

I also like the Nutmeg tree at ditchling, Wayfield farm cafe, just round the corner from the Poynings P&R and I remember Cote used to do a good one, but I haven't been there in a couple of years.

Had nice breakfasts in Cafe Rust in George St.
And they d a lovely eggs royale in 'Mon Cafe' in Church Road, where The Seafield (RIP) used to be.

La Maison in Seaford does a terrific breakfast, with sausages/bacon from the butcher down the road, and the ingredients are quality. Their lunch and dinner is very overpriced though, stick to the breakfast. 5* from me
Just made a booking for the new year
If that booking goes sideways you might end up with Oeuf all over your face.
Hope you like it. It's not everyone's idea of a breakfast. But it's worth a visit
