I'm still gutted, injuries happen but 6 minutes into your debut to get an injury like that due to such a horrific challenge is savage. I really feel for Matt, leaving on crutches knowing that the c**t didn't even get a card. Let's just hope it isn't a whole season thing. Crawley were going in hard and that clearly impacted the players after witnessing that injury.

Tactics of neanderthals which is what Crawley (the scum club and town) is essentially.

Looking forward to some special pleading from Crawley about how he isn’t that sort of player. It was a disgusting tackle. A lower league side clearly under orders to kick a premier league side. The commentators were discussing the Crawley physicality which was a plan to see if Brighton players fancied it. You can be physical without being reckless and dirty. That was disgraceful.

I will be amazed if we see him again before Christmas.
I think the snidey smirk after the tackle shows he is exactly that type of player!!

So pissed about this, a player with so much promised assault by a lower league thug. So disappointing

If it's bad (say 3+ months) would we go back into the market?
We have to if billy goes.

Wieffer is an unknown quality and hasn't set the world alight yet.

Milner runs around a lot but is pretty useless.

Baleba is very inconsistent and has no structure to his play.

Hinshelwood...not convinced and certainly not ready to start there.

Our centre mid options are already looking questionable with O'Riley if we are talking top 6, without him, I don't even want to think about it. We've lost too many amazing centre mids over the last few years it's hurting us.

As much as it pains me to ask the question but is there anyone we can loan from Chelsea ?

Will this injury scupper WBG to Napoli. I don't want MOR out for long but imo I believe Gilmour still has alot to offer. Mahoney looks a strong lad and capable of learning quickly. Some big clubs looking for strikers, might be the right time to put a price on Evan and see what fishing rods want to bite! Just an opinion and not to every one's liking I would imagine. We have an extraordinary strong squad at present and for me he doesn't excite me as much as Enciso and Sarimento. Get money for Evan now as he may not come back as we hope he would.

You're normally so positive.

No, can't buy a player every time someone gets injured for three months.

If anything, it could affect outgoing loans or transfers. I'm guessing Ayari has been told to not pack his bags just quite yet.

I see the 'bedwetting' has started early this season!

Don't get me wrong, I feel for the guy - especially if he's out for a long period of time - but let's get some perspective, FFS! It's a squad game and there is a very decent squad there. The club has shown it knows what it's doing and I would imagine there would be a contingency plan for every situation, including injuries to each individual players.

Yes, it's clearly a shame that it happened to MOR so soon - and it was a horrendous tackle - but let's just wait for some actual factual information, eh?

O'Riley gets injured and O'Mahoney gets a goal against L1 opposition so let's sell Ferguson? Ok, mate
