Although Williams (thug) should’ve been sent off, it doesn’t change the main thing happening which was O’Riley’s injury.

f***ing gutted for the lad - and the Albion. Just really hope it’s not as bad as it looks. But with our injury record, I’m very concerned.

Crawley did seem pretty dirty in the "friendly "at Lewes, seems like it's continued

Apart from the injury and the diabolical ref performance, it's job done. The main starting 11 got a rest, we progress through to the next round with a decent scoreline albeit through a disjointed performance. Onwards and upwards. Let's just hope O'Riley's injury isn't as bad as feared.

Obviously a horrific tackle… I hope he’s okay, but even it’s as we fear we’ve still got an awesome team… don’t lose sight of that, and we stuffed the dirty bunch of shits in the end…

I’m annoyed, but if anything these kinds of moments actually strengthen the unity and drive within the squad…

VAR is irrelevant, competent referees with working eyes is importanter.
Ultimately, for Matt O'Riley, that's irrelevant too.

He's got the same injury whether the player walks away unpunished, the ref sends him off or VAR gets involved to sort it out.

What is the point in speculating how long O’Riley will be out for? Apparently half our fanbase turn into Doctors with 0 information available apart from a 2 second clip.

Wait and see what the club said and don’t get worked up about it.
Angry at the malice in the “tackle”, angry it happened 7 minutes into the lad’s debut, angry at our constant injury list.

Fearing the worst because many of our players have gone off with what look like impact knocks and I’ve remained hopeful (Ferguson, March, Enciso) only for said players to be out for months, or in Solly’s case close to a year
