It's one of the best travel documentaries I've seen. However, as far a crime dramas go, it's about as tedious as watching Southgate's England. After about thirty minutes of watching that drivel, I don't care who did it and what their motivations were. It's dreadful !

I just watched the last episode of S4 yesterday, I really like it. But I'm not sure I will go to Brighton again, too many lunatics on the loose ;)

Don't mean to hijack Graces thread but are there any other series/films from Brighton/Sussex that you can recommend? Saw a film about a Rupert Gray a while ago. Think he lives in Sussex but it was more about his journey through India in his old Rolls. That was some journey!

It’s on here in Australia too. I find it quite bizarre that we get it before the UK!
I’ve watched those two; the next episode lands next Tuesday.
Love watching it and reminiscing😃

I won't recommend anything in particular, but this site might be useful to get some ideas of what might take your fancy. Films, TV series and one-off episodes filmed in Brighton.

They were filming in Southwick Square a couple of weeks back, using that flower shop which closed down recently (no wonder its gone under BTW, their flowers were RIDICULOUSLY expensive).

Well we've watched all of them, and whilst I think 'rubbish' is a bit strong, I will settle for 'not very good'. I agree with all the criticisms; perhaps we've been spoilt recently, but when compared to the likes of Unforgotten, Line of Duty, Happy Valley and Blue Lights 'Grace' really doesn't measure up in any respect.

We only watch to see the real star - Brighton. And then only so we can say things like "Oh look there's that tyre place by the viaduct!". And even then I don't think Brighton looks that good. The weeds in the pavement!
Resort To Murder made Brighton and Hove look really good. Grace doesn't make the most of the setting. It's as if Morse or Lewis avoided using Oxford colleges or riverside pubs as backdrops

This Michael Winner film, "Dirty Weekend" was largely shot in Brighton... You can watch it on youtube. Interesting for the Brighton scenes if nothing else...

That was a friend of mine’s shop. She’s still floristing!

Glad to hear it.

But I was distinctly underwhelmed by the £30 bouquet I ordered for the Doris a couple of years back. Could've got something twice as good for half the price from Tesco. That was the last time I used them.
