Another Flat horse making its debut tomorrow: American Riddle (US Navy Flag ex Puzzled) goes in the 6.00 at Kempton. Three years old, running over a mile, might want further in time as Puzzled was half-sister to a Derby runner-up. Cost 70k as a yearling, probably one to watch rather than back I think.

I'll give Harry Findlay a ring....see what he thinks.

You sometimes wonder what TB gets out of it. His betting coups are increasingly few and far between. And like he needed the money in the first place...

*edit* having said that, I've never personally seen him happier than when his horse won the Harry Bloom Memorial Trophy at Brighton Races. The prize money was like £2k or something. He had his whole family up there on the podium for the winner's presentation and he was beaming from ear to ear. You could see how much it meant to him 😍

Apologies for taking this slightly off-topic as it's not a Tony Bloom horse, but 2-y-o The Flying Seagull makes its racecourse debut in the 2.05 at Chester tomorrow. Owned by "Two Plus Three Two Plus Four", runs in blue and white stripes with blue and white chevrons on the sleeves. Anyone on here in the syndicate by any chance? I'm in need of an alternative to the favourite as Brian Meehan has only had 1 winner all year.
