He flapped about at all four of their goals, if we're including the two that were disallowed. He never got near the Son and Richarlison efforts that went wide/hit the post as well.

He's just a shockingly shite keeper... yet he's WORLD CLASS on the ball. It's one of the most bizarre things in football IMO.

Aside from his shot stopping, he had a decent game today! Could have had 2 or 3 assists if Pedro was more clinical.
...so he's being criticised for not getting a touch to shots that went wide? Weird.

The disallowed goals weren't bad goalkeeping, you wouldn't look to blame him of they had stood.

As long as they weren’t playing Everton or Nottingham Forest.

Look they left us and they aren’t coming back, we need to support the players who are on the pitch now, not harking back to them every time something goes a bit wrong.

I’m relaxed with their departures.

Simply pointing out the reason why we concede far more goals this season.

At the moment, Steele is the better all round keeper. He doesn't hesitate like b-b-b-bart. Eventually, he'll take over, unless one of a million other keepers we have come good

He got nowhere near them, I literally LOLed, as if it was on target it would have gone in as he was about 2 seconds and 2 feet away from saving them.

He's just a terrible keeper, it's hilarious when we win to be fair. I love Jason Steele.

Apart from some comedy defending in the last 10 mins ( fatigue maybe).... my big negative is Ferguson....just looks off the pace, half asleep at times, he has really disappointed me in the last few months.

Danny Welbeck on Pervis Estupiñán's goal

"It was incredible. We've given him a bit of stick because he's taken a few opportunities where he has struck the ball from distance but today was incredible."

"He's been out for a while and everybody is over the moon for him."

"You've got to get the technique right first and foremost and I think once the ball left his boot he knew that was in. It was a beautiful goal, and one he will remember forever."

On Brighton's 2023:

"It's been incredible. One that not many would have foresaw coming. We've done well and set the standards of where we want to be and we can only build upon that now. We want more, we have hungry people within the club and we want to keep on getting better and better."

"Even today we won 4-2 but we're still disappointed for conceding two goals. There is always room for improvement."

You should defo start a poll purely to be answered by yourself:

A. He's a terrible keeper.
B. I love him.

You're funny. :)

That's a ridiculous statement, he is very far from being a terrible keeper.

You're refraining from mentioning the excellent stops he made and claiming the ball on a number of occasions (again apart from the 2nd goal, where I think he could have come for it).

I'm sure RDZ will be taking on your feedback that he's a terrible keeper though.

A teenage boy has more chance of keeping a clean sheet than we do.

Last 20 took shine off as 4-0 and we were flying. At present feels like hanging on for a draw but will mellow shortly.

8 regulars out against a team higher in the league, ultimately a very good result.
