I haven't taken a ferry since Brexit.

Some of the longest waits I have experienced in recent years, have been getting through passport 'loss of' control inbound at both Heathrow and Bristol......

Ah, so Brexit hasn't impacted your European travel experience.... inbound... in the UK :ffsparr:

Sorry to continue with queue chat, but I'm genuinely interested in this detail.
What we're they asking you? I don't remember ever being asked any questions at a border crossing (Airport, ferry, rail, bus) pre or post brexit, whether I was entering an EU country or not.
Purpose of visit, where you're staying etc. Tbh, it's probably filling time while they run the post-Brexit mandatory checks on Brits.

Point is, you're no longer waved through.

Incidentally, last time I went to Stockholm my mate and I got so fed up waiting to go through the EU queue (this would have been May 2016) we got bored and walked through the non-EU gate.
Nice to have the option. The EU gate was closed after 5min when I arrived last week.

Trying to decide whether I can be arsed to go into town and find Albion pubs by myself, as none of my mates get here until tomorrow!
