There's more than one?

I think my contribution to the poll would be marginally less valuable than some others' so I'll refrain.

Best is probably Eminem, but prefer some tracks by Beastie boys, Everlast, Mark B to anything he has done.

Esoteric out of Army of the Pharaohs for written. Check out his verses on Gorillas and Battle Cry.

Harry Mack for freestyle.

Edit: Also thought Logic would have had a mention .

Potter Payper, would probably be my pick.

You could probably make a compelling argument for Songer being the best rapper in the country so definitely deserves a shout.

French The Kid went viral a few years ago because he can switch between English & French whilst rapping, he’s not just that gimmick though.

Big Heath is probably the funniest rapper out there, would be an absolute huge if he released more frequently

Also massive shoutouts to English Frank, Devlin, Jordan McCann, El-P, Mac Miller, Aesop Rock and the artists I’ll instantly remember as soon as I press send.

In no particular order Slug, El-P, Jehst, Rugged Man, Brother Ali, Action Bronson, Chester P, Abdominal, Aesop Rock, Braintax.

If I had to choose a favourite, I'd probably go for Rugged Man.
Slug is a deep cut that I am here for, love the guy. Another vote for Aesop.

Throwing Eyedea and MC Paul Barman in (albeit at very different ends of the 'serious' scales)

Eyedea is a great shout.

I also just remembered Edan. Haven't listened to the Beauty and the Beat album for years.

Eminem is without question the best white rapper of all time, with the deepest catalogue of quality music. What a journey he's been on in his life - he has a perspective and insight which few can match. Lyrically and instrumentally he's on another level. He's a genius.

Decent shouts in here, Potter is very good. Frank's SBTV was great. Jordan McCann is a really good rapper, love some of his stuff. I'll also add Morrison to this list.

Theresa May's on our future relationship with the European Union was one of my least favourite in recent times.

Plan B deserves a mention. The Defamation of Strickland Banks is one of my favourite albums.

Example, too – got a lot of time for him and he's produced some amazing tracks across a range of genres, not just rap.

For some reason this gets me every time I hear it. It goes into my top ten all time favourite tracks.
