Flying in from Eindhoven and somehow ended talking with Veltman’s dad with @Safe.

Said he’s really happy in Brighton and loves de Zerbi. He’ll be in the away end with us.

Little bit concerned he flies his family out on RyanAir mind 😂
I spoke with Mrs Veltman at the Chelsea game last Wednesday as she was in the row in front, very nice lady and said she likes Brighton a lot.

There's now 12 police vans and 4 mounted coppers down one side of the old port…..they expecting something.
I was in Lille this weekend. In a lovely park full of families and tourists there were 4 (four) SUVs each containing 4 (four) fully armed soldiers as well as the usual gangs of strolling police with guns, tazers and nightsticks. The French do like to go in mob-handed and tooled up.

Started as a conversation as he was watching feyenoord and I asked him who scored. Not sure Joel would be happy!

More riot police than Brighton fans when I passed through joliette to pick up my ticket earlier. Quite comical really there was van after van parked up as though some serious trouble was about to go down…

Me too. Currently watching some French police who have apprehended some youths. One of them is carrying an axe!

Can't even come home from a hard day chopping wood in the forest without being picked on by the police these days.

We've been in Marseille all day and evening. Chilled, nice atmosphere, friendly people. One barman clocked us and was nothing but polite, saying he reckons we'll beat them. Watched the Champions League with some PSG-hating locals.

I can't say what tomorrow will be like, or what every bar in every part of town is like right now, but to this point for me it's like being on a surreal holiday.

I'm sure if people want to go out of their way to get into bother they can and will, however.

Same experience here.
