I also collect Albion pin badges. I prefer the older ones especially late 70s Coffer badges. I haven’t bought any for a while because some are going for far too much money.
There are also some on sale now on eBay that are not good quality.
Odd that the club shop website only lists one pin badge, I haven’t been in the shop lately as it’s usually packed solid.

Wow that’s impressive! I’ve been collecting autographs for about 30 years, nothing like your helmets - just cards and pics! Started at the Theatre Royal stage door, then TV studios, theatres and hotels in London when I worked there. But haven’t really done anything for about 10 years of note. I miss the thrill of the chase tbh, was great fun. Have about 3000 signatures in total, mainly actors, plus at the other end of the scale, X Factor bods…!

Mine are more mundane, 1400 vinyl LPs - mostly 60s Soul, early ska and reggae, Mod and Mod revival, garage, freakbeat, African, gospel, blues, 2-tone and punk. And about 2500 books, mostly lefty histories and politics and 2 dozen on the Albion.
A dozen tiny ironclads and at the moment I have involuntarily collected tons of flu germs - I hope to abandon that collection by Wednesday as I have a ticket for the Chelsea game.

I haven't got insurance on them (that doesn't mean you can come and nick them), to be honest I'd never thought about it but they've got to be worth a few quid so it's something I should look into.Very jealous my ??young?? padawan

With all collectibles, they're only worth what someone is willing to pay, so how do you put a price on them?
My collection of vinyls, I have them all from my primary school years onwards, all looked after. If there was a fire, after saving my family and pets, the vinyls would come next. Includes a load of US and European imports bought from Rounder Records back in the day ….. irreplaceable.

I'll dig out my signed photos tomorrow and put some photos on here. I used to have the helmets wall mounted and the autographed photos either side of each one but it looked a bit cluttered so I donated the ones of lesser value to my neighbour (who has a vast collection of vintage toys, star wars, he-man, transformers, space 1999, action man, Thunderbirds and so on, valued at over £200k!! Insane collection) and put the others away for safe keeping.
As I said in a previous post, I have no idea of the monetary value of what I have, but I know the Carrie Fisher autograph after she passed away was worth around £500 on its own. I'd imagine the Vader helmet will be the most valuable once James Earl Jones dies.
I remember that Driver8 said he knew Spencer Wilding and could possibly get him to autograph it too, but that was some time ago.
3000 signatures in your collection absolutely dwarfs mine, that's some serious leg work!

I don’t get collecting, maybe because I’ve had to empty a few elderly houses. It’s just landfill at the end of the day, and if you don’t need it, why possess? Something in the human psyche I guess ‘this is mine, all mine…’
But it’s often just clutter clutter clutter. Can’t stand it! The number of people who for example collected programmes on here over the decades who’ve tried to then give away. Do yourself a favour. Stop accumulating shit. Can’t take it with you!

A brilliant day.
