Yes.

Yes they will.

1st on the list is Skalak for this:

The statue will be be based on his promotion morning garden scarecrow pose.

I'm not suggesting Jiri should be the statue, but if he was. it would be this

Do you think the club would ever consider putting statues outside the stadium?

If so who do you think deserves to be the first?

I’d go for a Dick knight and Tony Bloom handshake!
This has to go up first, but closely followed by the Holy Trinity

Lewis, Solly and Pascal

Tony Bloom would never sanction a statue of himself. Nor Dick Knight

I wouldn't have a statue put up but instead have bronze faces of key people through the history of the club. High enough on the wall of the amex to prevent morons doing anything but low enough to see who they are. Suggest John Jackson, Charlie Webb, Tommy Cook, Billy Lane, Peter Ward, Alan Mullery, Bamber, Dick Knight, Tony Bloom. Could add a few other players but that would be for discussion. Design should allow others to be added over the years.

I think statues are over-rated, in fact any item that harks back to bygone eras. They make an era synonymous with one manager or one player when in truth it is a team sport. Isn't that exactly what the Albion is about? Community, values, fans, togetherness - the collective, not the individual?

And it's not going to help Chelsea having all those banners around Stamford Bridge listing former legends, as it is a permanent reminder of just how badly the current crop are under-performing.

As things stand it would surely be Tommy Cook wouldn’t it?
