This doesn't sound good. Hopefully not serious.

Translation: 'Julio Enciso with knee discomfort. Couldn't finish yesterday's practice with #Brighton . Official medical report is awaited.'

Possible meniscus tear. If true, several months recovery.

Hopefully all bollocks.

Very bad luck after such a good performance last week. The club will have to go back in for Kudus, Palmer or a similar style of player.

Is this going to be one of those where a player has a slight niggle that rules them out of international matches across the other side of the world and then makes a speedy recovery to play in the next club match?

if it’s meniscus, we won’t see him this side of christmas. it’s it’s acl, we won’t see him till this time next year. either we now push for another attack minded player, or pull buonanotte’s loan if we don’t want to spend the money

I hope it’s not a meniscus tear, that is a bad injury for a footballer and will possibly need surgery.

Edit - or ACL as above!
Correct. I tore mine playing football in 2015, then again in 2016 and I've had five knee ops since. It's been hard but I've had to come to terms with never making it in the pro game.

I'm 53.

This was the Injury that Fati had shortly after he burst onto the scene. Think he was out for a year.
Lots of other footballers have recovered in more like 2 months.
Fingers crossed.

Minimum 4 months out if meniscus tear. Likely more.

Start praying !
It’s not 4 months Minimum, more like 4 months maximum, some players have recovered in Weeks, depends on the severity. I did it myself (although I didn’t bother with any rehab, and my knee clicks when I move it to this very day), and I was running again within 4-6 weeks
