So basically, after work I should splurge my entire life savings on blow and hookers?
As it’s the end of the world I plan to do something different from a usual Friday

What time is KO, then? I will say that the sky looks a bit of funny colour, so we might not have too long to wait...???

Gonna have to accelerate my bucket list a bit sharpish.
Mind you, climbing the 8 highest peaks in the world, becoming the first person to swim the English Channel using backstroke and flying to Kyiv to seek asylum, are, admittedly, going to be a tall order.

I’m about to take the dog for a walk. They’re quite sensitive to magnetic forces so I’ll let everyone know if he faces in a different direction when he takes a shit.

On the one hand, I was looking forward to the end of all wanting and the peace that comes with no longer having an endless chore list.

On the other hand, I was annoyed at the end of the world occurring before the end of the season and before we’d played a single European match.

On the whole, quietly pleased that the world still appears to be present and correct.

What happens to these experts who predict stuff like this happening,do they simply carry on doing their end of the world prediction job for the BBC or replaced by a more qualified expert on end of world type matters.
To be fair it has gone a bit cloudy here so maybe it's just a quick tut and don't do it again from aunty Beeb.

Will be interesting to see his Tweets if, as I suspect, we're all still here tomorrow.

To be fair they're not a lot different from the politicians that promise net zero, new NHS hospitals and increased staffing, affordable housing by certain dates...and some of them have MBAs too🤷‍♂️

Are we still on for the world ending today? I won’t bother doing a weekly shop otherwise.
I did a big shop last night. The kind of shop so big that I make use of the twice-monthly 10% off.

I'd like to think, in the final reckoning, I get bonus points for having a well-stocked fridge.

I can sense the thin veneer of civilization bulging over a seething mass of panicked humanity. Its definitely happening. Colanders on heads everyone.

No one ever explains what timezone these predictions are aimed at. If it was Hawaii then we've still got a couple of hours. If it was New Zealand the guy will be deleting his Twitter any moment now.
