Been absolutely pissing down all day here in West Berkshire, yet the kids' cricket tonight STILL hasn't been called off as they reckon it's 'going to clear up' 🙃 My 8 year old had cross country today as well, so not sure he is going to be in the mood for it...

First time I've worn a shacket and jeans since bloody May today.

I'm looking forward to my neighbour who thinks fence panels can stay up by tying them to trees losing all of his fence panels because he is a twat!

50mph winds incoming tomorrow. I shall be moving my tall potted plants and strategically placing them with their backs against the wall.

Might have a mince along the seafront to have a lolly and check out the waves.
Could well be some very surprised shellfish washed up....keep your eyes open, Edible Crabs and Lobsters included !

I'm so excited as I'm going home on the 2300 hours cross channel ferry from Newhaven tomorrow. It was a pleasant 31 degrees where I live in France today.

Goodwood Festival of Speed cancelled tomorrow. Hardly surprising, I was there on Thursday (very light winds compared to what's predicted tomorrow) and there were parasols flying off next to the track!

Just a sunny and warm if breezy day so far. Storm in a teacup?

Really don't think summer's been that bad personally. Unsettled days here and there and not scorchio (bar parts of June) but lots of sun, little rain and pleasantly warm temps. Certainly would rather be here than southern Europe at the moment!
