Why do people think we will beat saints.

I think they have no pressure on them and will want to go out with a win. I think it's a potential Banana skin.
their players are auditioning for a transfer to another PL club for the rest of the season now, which hopefully means they’ll take risks and we can pick them apart

So if Liverpool beat Villa tomorrow and Tottenham draw with Brentord tomorrow.
We only have to beat Southampton on Sunday to finish 6th. What do you think.

I've entered the details into the super-computer, it's run all the permutations, and the possibility of this happening comes to...

0.

I think why is there ANOTHER thread about this?

One thing to think about - Leeds could already be down by the time they play Spurs. Let's hope they aren't relegated this weekend, so they'll be fighting for their lives next Sunday.

Europa League no, Conference yes.

Liverpool will beat Villa but Spurs will beat Brentford.
A more likely scenario l think. In a way the Conference might suit us better, on paper not as strong as the Europa League, and Wet Spam have done pretty well in it this year making the final, a team who in the Premier League have been pretty pants really.

On the flip side, I thought Brentford would be on the beach today but I hadn't noticed that they would be in the mix for the Conference League if they beat Tottenham today. If they win they're only a point behind Villa and Tottenham

I am not convinced Liverpool will win. They've won 7 straight, but 5 of them have been by a single goal and the law of averages suggests they'll slip up at some point.

Brentford could easily take points off Spurs though.

As for our game, we are something like 3/10 to win it. Stupid odds that I wouldn't take. We've been hammered in 2 of our last 3 and everyone knows this fixture hasn't been won by the home side in about 11 fixtures in a row. I don't trust us to win it as much as I'm praying that we do.

Livramento back for Saints this weeekend. We really don’t want why couldn’t Southampton play like that earlier to be the headlines. I remember us relegated or practically relegated beating high flying Forest in the championship at Withdean, we hadn’t played that well for weeks.

This all day bloody long, we never, ever do things the easy way, with no stress.....

But that is what makes it so fun, I love this City, County, Club.
I am bringing my friend from France who is a Nantes supporter who follows Brighton, he is coming for some light relief as their plummet down the league, and financial woes are all to reminiscent of ours.

UTA

Victory on Wednesday will seal it, don't worry folks, that is what we do.

We haven’t beaten Saints for years, Villa, Spurs and Brentford seem to f*** us over pretty well every time is what I think

Spurs have been handed a joke get out of jail free card by the FA deciding to ban Toney from this game on.

This negativity is the legacy of following this club for too long with zero sense of entitlement :lolol:

I think one reason they've been pants...is because they've been in the Conference league too 😬

Liverpool last home game. Farewell to some of their players. Going to be a big game and no way are they going to lose to Villa.
Spurs meanwhile could fluff their lines. Brentford have nothing to lose, in the same way as Southampton I guess.
I'm not a betting man but what are the odds of both Villa & Spurs NOT winning (draws will do) plus a BHA win. If it comes up could pay for a plane ticket.

From what I've read on here, I think most of us are certainly not taking it for granted.

Not a betting man either but couldn't turn down putting on a Villa / Tottenham double. If the worst happens, some extra cash will soften the blow and buy me a few extra beers to calm the nerves for tomorrow. If we are still in 6th or at worst 7th before tomorrow's game I couldn't give a stuff about the money.

I think I'm more nervous about todays results than I will be about our game tomorrow.

If results go our way today, it's totally in our hands and I'll be confident we'll see it through!

Praying to the football Gods.
