We’re well past the point where draws have much value for Everton. They really need to be winning matches, which is just dandy because we really don’t need them coming to the Amex with notions of bus parking and a solid point.

Everton and Leeds going down would just be funnier
No beef with Leicester or Everton. Hate Leeds though.

I personally feel Everton have been shit for ages without punishment. I felt the same when Villa were just lingering around for what felt like eons being gash under Lambert and others, until they finally got relegated. I think Everton deserve it, Leicester at least try and do something productive.

Even Mopes would have got the one that DCL just fluffed.

This game is not a jobbie. It is a proper cracker.

I hope Mopes comes on for his customary late yellow.

Martin Tyler on Vardy's goal: "The only VAR involvement in that were the first 3 letters of his surname"

They’ll be fighting for their lives regardless of tonight’s result. All the teams at the bottom will. I’d rather face a team with fragile / little confidence so won’t mind if Everton lose…

I understand what you’re saying, but momentum is so important in my view. Look at how we reacted on NSC collectively to two losses on the bounce. The players feel it too, it’s human nature.

Fight and effort is the minimum, confidence to take that shot believing you’ll score, or try that cross instead of recycling to the fullback, is the real match winner a lot of the time.
