Some news around about Crystal Palace being in talks with Adolf "Adi" Hutter, the Austrian manager who had a lot of success in Germany.

If he does indeed take over, with the first mission being to avoid relegation and later probably trying to conquer Europe, how will it go down in stands all over England? Will people be able not to mention the war? Will Wayne Hennessey return as emergency goalkeeper? Many questions.

But it’d be a real shock if they weren’t to snatch dear Old Roy away from his Warhammer games at the Croydon carehome, reanimate him, fill him with crack and get him at the helm again.

The name Adolph has really dipped in popularity in the last 80 years.

High time it made a comeback. I mean all that business was a long time ago now.
I've read interviews with mr Adolf Hutter where he explained that he didnt feel his parents made a great decision naming him, an Austrian with surname Hutter, Adolf.

I went to college with a bloke called Adolph. He told us his name was Antony, but one of us saw some official correspondence he'd carelessly left in our flat. He was known by his nickname (which I won't reveal here as it is unusual and he's quite successful these day). Lovely lad. But what were the parents thinking?

Please make this true. I can't wait to see Parish waving the contract, ink barely dry, at the press conference claiming "This morning I had another talk with the Austrian Chancer, Herr Hütter, and here is the paper which bears his name upon it as well as mine"

Roy Hodgson is only 6 years younger than Alan Mullery. Possible option if RdZ gets poached in the summer?

Every away ground will be playing the great escape 🤣
And the theme tune to Dad's Army (in part an homage to the Senior Players who Herr Hutler will be bringing in to shore up, er, the attack. I hear that Miroslav Klose may be available. And 'Big' Jurgen Locardia).

Yes but he could at least retrieve the other one from the Albert Hall as not far from Selhurst.
And what was the bit about his mother? I feel that somone really ought to call Social Services. In this day and age. Really.
