Maguire has been exceptional in an England shirt even when club form down. Has experience in tournaments and always shows up for England. Hard to drop when the other CB options are not exactly miles ahead.

who are you dropping from these for March out of interest ?

Forwards: Phil Foden (Manchester City), Jack Grealish (Manchester City), Harry Kane (Tottenham), Marcus Rashford (Manchester United), Bukayo Saka (Arsenal), Ivan Toney (Brentford).
Agree that in a direct comparison with Foden / Grealish / Saka / Rashford all fit and available, it is a tough ask for Solly to be included in the squad.

That said, I think we're top heavy with central midfielders; Bellingham, Gallagher, Henderson, Maddison, Mount, Phillips and Rice - because it's likely only 2, possibly 3 of those 7 will play. Given March can also play wing-back, one of those midfielders could have made way for March.

How Dier, Guehi and Maguire are getting picked ahead of Dunk is difficult to work out. Spurs fans I speak to don't think they'll ever win anything while Dier is continually in their side., pretty clear what Ten Hag thinks of Fat Harry as well.

You're right we've won every tournament with him in the team.

How is Toney in's the squad, yet didn't go to the World Cup?
Toney shouldn't get his hopes up. Southgate picked him in the squad before, but never played him.

The England Men's National Team requires an elite level manager.

Southgate has never been that at club level, let alone country.

Not even that, if he was too damaged to go to the World Cup, what's changed now other than more details have come out.

He shouldn't even be allowed to be playing club football at the moment.

As sure as night follows day and palace follows chrystal you can guarantee that NSC will kick off about Southgate. Usually it's a load of petty bollocks.

That said he does make it difficult for himself when every squad he makes several really strange selections. Guehi and Philips have no place in the squad yet there they are.

I wonder what the Ben White issue is. He left the world cup for 'personal reasons' but you'd assume he'd be in this squad, he's been having an excellent season.

March is in a good vein of form but I look at the list and can’t see who you drop to make way for him. They are all better more experienced international players.

That Dunk isn’t in is an absolute disgrace. His ability on the ball is exactly the sort of football Gareth wants to play with England and he’s in top form defensively. Shambolic decision.

Agreed, referring Ben White allows a sense of neutrality. Fans of The Arse think they got him for a bargain price. He is playing exceptionally well for the league leaders.

The waistcoatwanker has excelled himself this time. What a stunning loser bellend.
White won't get picked all the time Steve Holland remains the assistant manager. There is no love lost there after the World Cup and it wouldn't surprise me if Ben hasn't told them he's basically unavailable for selection for the foreseeable future.
