And if he’s gone we might be looking at a British record transfer. Insane to think we have two, maybe three of the most valuable players in the Premier League.

Mitoma with two years left on his contract after this summer, has to be worth £90m of anyone’s money. Not that I want to sell him!
This fella seems to be suggesting otherwise.

I hope the Argie fans who flew in from Argentina specially to see Mac Allister, and were shown on the pre-match video, got to meet Alexis during or after the match.

Mitoma is a late developer and seems to have become a Japanese Gareth Bale.

Not sure anyone has. "All them lovely Japanese fans in the East Lower". Was that yours? I don't see anything wrong with it at all.

I lived in Tokyo in 2002/3. We were on the train over today and there was a Japanese family of three opposite us. I gathered enough from my taxi and kitchen Japanese to work out that the kid was SO excited and was practicing "MITOMA". He did think the astro pitch with the junior game going on was the ground until his mum pointed out the Amex though.

Anyway. They're great. Respectful and polite people who love Mitoma, love Brighton and spend shitloads of cash in Uncle Tone's Tat Store.
:clap2:

Another fantastic sly dig from a moderator, why thank you

Bloomin' love Japanese tourists, me. They're intrepid global travellers like Aussies of yesteryear. Handy hint tho: if you're in a travel-related queue with J's in front of you, switch sharply to any available alternate queue. Else you'll be stuck in that queue for bloomin' ages

A couple of very happy Japanese fans near us in WSU yesterday, bloke and his girlfriend. Requisite bag full of tat and replica shirt was a big tick but they were joining in with all the songs. Mitoma's goal had them high fiving half the stand.

If you're going to have tourists then have ones who help make the day

Joyful.

Word is clearly spreading. Whole families complete with gaggles of little kids in the North and on the train, all of them looking to be having great fun. It's Disneyland Falmer!

Another bunch in the East Upper again. Without doubt the best 'tourist' fans ever. When he scores they all just go mental. Forget Ronald, there must be a ロナルド vlog out there somewhere.

A group of West Ham fans were trying to antagonise some Japanese tourists who unfortunately had Liverpool & Brighton keyrings hanging off their back packs. They just shrugged and carried on and glad it didn’t escalate

The last 2 games we couldn’t go to our tickets were sold on the exchange and ultimately used by Japanese fans. Are tickets listed on the exchange available on general sale?
