Any Achilles heel that we did have tonight was kicked off Caicedo's legs at every opportunity.

Largely comfortable in defence/midfield, but very sloppy going forward which meant we kept giving Stoke the chance to counter attack. One of those game where if we'd scored a 2nd you could say the performance was totally comfortable, but at 0-1 there's always the nerves of f***ing it up.

Bit diabolical, but not that bad. Could easily have gone tits up but didn't, probably won't get away playing like that in the next round.

He’s only 19. Plenty of time to grow a bit and develop. They aren’t all going to be Ferguson’s.
Problem is his all round game is poor. To me he looks like a kid who hasn't played 11-a-side football. I don't want to start a witchhunt, or create scapegoats a la NSC when we are doing badly, but he's a long way off. He's offisde. He makes rash fouls. Poor touch. Poor decision-making. No pace. No strength. Holds on to the ball too long.
To balance this out, I thought Facundo looked fantastic. Great vision. Great positions. Really good first touch. Decent range of passing. Put himself about a bit. But if Enciso is one of the best 25 players contracted to BHAFC i'd be amazed.

Didn't think we done bad against a Pulis type team...every one of their players was 6' 12"!
Not too pretty with some of our passing, but job done onwards to the quarter finals

Tough game, didn't really look fluid. I think it is fair to say we missed Pervis and Solly. I think Stoke's game plan was quite good, albeit dirty.
I think it was a game crying out for Lallana. Every Lallanaesque pass or flick we tried failed dismally. Just lacking that bit of quality.
One of the few bits of quality was Dunk's pass to Mitoma which led to the goal

RDZ pulls no punches, Ferguson needs to play better, Mitoma should have scored, love the honesty

Thought we were okay, certainly not that good tonight. The win is all that matters but we weren’t at our best and very wasteful again in front of goal.

Enciso doesn’t look ready and Undav was pretty shit when he came on.
