We had a situation around the end of November where I had to turn across a roundabout to avoid a car going the wrong way round.
I've seen it a few times here where if someone wants to go back in the direction they have come from they will not bother going around the roundabout and just perform a u turn on the wrong side.
Anyway I had to turn into the roundabout which had a high curb but the land was also a bit sunken which meant it had a high kerb the other side too. It was pretty much a blur but we came out the other side with the front bumper a bit broken, a burst tyre and a broken side mirror.
The thing is this roundabout is absolutely full of trees but somehow we managed to go through the only gap through the trees.
Of course the other MF had driven off and luckily there were no other cars on the roundabout.
No injuries and the car was fixed on the insurance but I drive past that roundabout every day and think how the hell did I not go head on into one of the trees.
Pure luck I guess but it still pops into my head quite frequently.

Brighton. NOT KEMPTOWN!
Hope you get back to normal very soon Durlston. You would have done something good in life to have deserved to still be with us. Best wishes.

Escapism worked for me after my accident (motorbike) someone was most definitely looking out for me that day , i found watching films a way to distract my mind , sci-fi fantasy just anything that took my mind somewhere else . If you were given valium or similar follow the instructions to the letter , but in general try to be with someone at all times , and try and fill your time with things that make you happy . It can be a tough road , but you have a lot of friends to turn to , all the best . (y)

You don't roll a car twice doing 30mph. Quite why he has shared that on here is beyond me.

I haven't accused anyone of that. So talking about reading posts....
I didn't say you had.

You replied to THPP's question of 'Why would you even post that?', which was directed at Rogero's 'Drink driving is not a good idea' post.

Ignore him. He would be a rubbernecker too.

I should hope most households did help and try to alleviate some of the shock as it's quite disorientating and confusing, the shock mixed with potential concussion.
I had the silver foil around me as extra protection when the ambulance finally arrived. It was bitterly cold last night.

Simply not true. I’ve witnessed a car roll three times after swerving to avoid another car at the bottom of Southover St.

Neither car was doing over about 25 mph.

But being the board’s foremost expert on seemingly every topic, I’ll defer to your superior knowledge.

Someone has to stand in until Swanny gets back.
It was the can't comment for insurance reasons, no harm done.

I think it was four years ago almost exactly to the day when I coughed up blood and got taken to the RSC hospital. That felt like nothing compared to the horror of last night.
