Brighton & Hove Albion have cracked an attempted ticket touting ring which sought to exploit home and away fans desperate to attend high profile matches at the Amex.

The club has taken a firm stance against touts ever since moving to the stadium in 2011, but with the club enjoying the most successful period in its history, demand for tickets has never been greater.

Good. Hope it was the guy boasting about it on Twitter.
If it was it does rather suggest the club didn't need to bring in Hurcule Poirot to solve the mystery.

Hopefully, as part of the crackdown, the club shop will stop selling the cheap(er) BHAFC t-shirts to away fans who clearly had tickets in home areas and were too dim to come to the game in "civvies" and were wearing away team colours which they needed to cover up to gain entry to home areas of the ground..

The big coverall was the half'n'half scarves. Sadly tho, in many cases, the stupid haircut gave them away :lolol:

For both Liverpool games I was asked if I wanted to buy tickets by some really dodgey bloke out the corner of his mouth. Was straight out of the movies.

Never had that before

In 2023, a crack ticket touting unit was banned from online purchasing by supporter services for a crime they did commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security banning to the internet's underground. Today, still wanted by supporter services they survive as touts of fortune. If you need a ticket, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....maybe you can hire some right touty wankers"

Look at this idiot, thinks we can’t see his Liverpool shirt under the blue number he bought in the club shop

I have to confess, I used my mate and daughter's fan numbers so a mates wife could buy them tickets for the 3 nil in the South end of the East stand. To be fare whilst they were Liverpool fans, I had made them sit through the Burnley game last season - they also added massively to my enjoyment, as my pre-match prediction in the car was 3 nil to the Albion. I was also quite clearly the only one for many a seat that sang gosbts and cheered our first goal.
