Yes. Thanks so much @super-seagulls

I’ve won around £260 too after taking a mix of odds until I passed the £50 maximum stake. I was not sensible enough to hedge the bet but this was probably because I placed the money out of anger and upset rather than cold financial acumen.

@Weststander Has SkyBet paid out yet? My app is down but the bet is still open on the browser. Like Arsenal fans, it seems it’s very tough for them to accept Moises is staying!!!
No, they haven't paid out yet.
The actual bet is 'club he's with on Feb 3', so expect we'll have to wait a couple of days yet

Heartening to see Brighton fans won on that 11/2 and great to look back on @Bozza 's poll from Friday and see 82% kept the faith, despite a few losing it every time there was a tweet from an unverified source.

We were never, ever going to sell this window as I told that Liverpool idiot back in November (where is he these days BTW :lolol: ). The club needed a quiet window and to have all their options open for getting in to AND playing in Europe and we'll obviously have different strategies for the next window depending on where we finish this season.

In that, Trossard was an outlier but it seems De Zerbi was ok with him going. Has essentially been fully replaced by Ferguson and Mitoma with Buonanotte waiting in the wings. We got good money for an unhappy player without really losing squad balance.

Should we get into Europe I think Caicedo's acceptable price for that window will go even higher in Tony's mind. This window? There wasn't one. Not for sale.

Nailed it.

Also....chatting to an Arsenal season ticket holder pal yesterday, his second-hand view was that we should have accepted the Arse offer now because 'that sort of money won't be offered again'. I replied - 'you think that he's not actually much good, then, and by the end of the season everyone will realize?'. He scratched his head, looked a bit confused, and then realized he was just parroting nonsense spouted on crap radio, by 'journalists' who source their info from font of all fact, twitter.

Even radio 5 yesterday said the 'Brighton wanted £80 million' for Moises. They were simply making it all up.

Well done, all those like @Weststander who made a few quid backing their trust in Mr Bloom's resolve

All January transfer window bets refer to where player is after Feb 3rd not Jan 31.

Guess it's for late submissions/announcements.....but you've won and they will pay in next couple of days.

Edit: see @Bob! Already answered!

An important line in the sand was drawn.

Big money clubs can now see that getting a player to down tools to force a move won't automatically work at the albion - the price will need to be met, and the club will need to already have/be able to get a replacement player.

Well done albion.

Naylor still going 😂

Naylor's previous tweets were so convincing, I suspect they came right from the top.

So too, I suspect does the tweet above. It's Tony taking the piss out of Arsenal.
Arsenal are being played like a fiddle, and they still don't realise it.

'We'll be coming back for him in the summer'. Excellent - you're in love with Caicedo and will pay anything.
More of the same then. Either that or Tony will rinse you. Thanks for the heads up!

This. Also sends out an important message to our players and their agents. If the Albion had caved in on this one, they'd almost certainly have faced more of the same next transfer window. Players and their agents might now think twice before trying to pull the same stunt
