I think psychologically it could be enough for some.

I guess the season ticket waiting list might play a part in any decision. Is there a waiting list? If there’s a long list of willing people this could mitigate any cancelations due to price increase.
A fair solution should be a price freeze for most, but a 50% increase for 1901 members when next permissable.

Freeze them. Huge fees in and a tough time for many. Already gone up roughly 25% in 10 years - just think there’s no need for the rise people expect and accept. Will still renew obvs 🤦🏻‍♂️

I will renew but can assure you many out there are considering not renewing for 1/ Financial reasons and 2/ Travel issues
Considering our matchday income is such a small % of total income I think any increase would be a mistake. If you also take into account incredible transfer income plus higher table finish payment
I thought with tickets £25 it was good to see many having opportunity to see a side like liverpool when you consider matchday tickets for league game were £50/58

I would expect and largely hope for a repeat process of how to renew from current renewal makes sense to make this as easy as possible (why complicate what already appears to largely work) and anticipate no increase if renew within short space of time thereafter a small increase.

Travel is becoming a serious issue now however all the time the club don't make a conscientious effort to try and resolve it and also take ownership of the issue fans pay to have incorporated in the ST price may cost them in renewals.

I should point out that the annual launch of the season ticket renewal package is always, always followed by a really poor result or two.

Brace yourselves for defeats to Bournemouth and (obviously  ) the following opponents...

The process for me is do absolutely nothing, which is quite easy ?

As someone who's recently bought a half-season ticket (x3), which starts on the Bournemouth game this weekend, it seems a bit much to be already having to think about whether I want to renew for the full season...

You probably had to tick a box to say you had read the T&C…….where this was no doubt explained

It'll probably go up. Everything has gone up so it makes sense. Hopefully not by too much though given the current economic climate.

But if it's frozen then fair bloody play.

I don't know what they are going to do but what I do already know is that Chailey Jem is very happy with the decision, whatever it may be

If there's a need to riase prices they should freeze ST prices and raise match day prices, they could take the edge off a match day increase by offering package deals for the occasional fans. Maybe a pick and mix 3 game package where you choose and an A, B and C game for £100

Not without Wilf
Pretty sure they didn't have Tiny Tears in the Great Amex Robbery of 2021, so I'm certainly taking nothing for granted there.

To be honest, he's been such a sulky, malevolent presence for them in recent years, they may well be better off without him, in the same way that Man United improved when they dropped Ronaldo. When you have a player making it all about him, sometimes it's to the detriment of others in the team.
