@Swansman I know you're a fan of saying results don't matter so simply put we are just much better to watch under RDZ. I'm actually looking forward to going to the Amex after it being a chore under Potter.
Disagree with it being much better to watch, but it is indeed a fantastic watch, though I certainly feel like that has been the case for a long while. But we all have our different preferences.

I don’t understand this view. So are we supposed to do an employee job satisfaction survey every week ? Anything less than 100 % commitment and we ship them out on a free ? Sorry about the facetiousness but this is exactly the line pushed by Leeds fans during the Ben White saga. Caicedo can go if Arsenal pay Tony’s price. Everybody knows that including the player. He’s just trying it on.
Sorry if this got lost in the hilarity, but I’m certainly not suggesting we bin off anyone for free… but I’d always encourage the removal of a player who wants to leave… yes, any valuation needs to be met… but this kid is going to be out for weeks/months ‘trying’ to refocus lol my heart bleeds - sell him now for 80ish million and (yes) good riddance.

Give it a rest....again.
Why do so many threads end up about your opinion/preferences/whatever?
As to it being 'much better to watch' - of course it is, it's just that you would never, ever admit it.

I hope It’s off the mark, but one of my regulars (a recently retired ex pro) reckons this is a done deal. His agent (boo!) told him as much earlier apparently.

Fingers crossed he’s wrong.
They're up to 70m now.

They're probably only 15% off. This does feel a tad similar to Cuccu now sadly.

I'm so on the fence with this one can't decide what will happen

Well that’s cheered me up… hilarious.

As ever, you’re so blinded by your need to be 100% right all of the time… no give no take, it’s literally all about your take.

You’re wrong about this one, hugely wrong - force him to stay and we’ll regret it… moreover I don’t want honest fans paying his ‘meagre’ salary if he’s not 100% committed to this club … he’s not , clearly he’s compromised and his actions… well, it’s left him with the look of a man without a shred of credibility…

I’m focussed errrmmmm I’m not focussed, I’m happy to stay errmmm I’m not…. Pathetic.

If you want to support a player/agent like this, then fine… I guess I’d credited you with wayyyyy too much intelligence.

Brighton and Naive Albion.

Its a forum so what we generally do here is discussing each others opinions/preferences/whatever.
As I said, that is a matter of personal opinion.
Lets get back to the topic.

Yeah, if it’s 80 mill that’s a different conversation from the current one. I don’t know about Tony though. He will have a figure in mind.

There are two deals to be done.

1. Arsenal and Caicedo, against tapping up laws, have done a deal.

2. Will TB allow a deal to even get off the ground? He holds all the cards.

By 11pm Tuesday you’ll know if your regular got his deals mixed up or not.
Fair point. Hoping it’s not happening. But I guess agents, like any other industry have information being passed around amongst one another the rest of us don’t get.

Justice said that RDZ is getting better results with the same squad.

With Graham Potter in charge of this squad, Brighton won 4 out of 6 games whereas the boys with RDZ in charge has won 7 out of 16 games.

It is very simple math.
Sorry @Swansman but it's getting a bit silly now. You're either an Albion fan or you follow another team/player/manager and you're quite welcome to tell us how well he's doing at Chelsea.

It's not a big problem, we have quite a lot of supporters of other teams/players/managers on here who add a lot to the board and I love your knowledge of Northern European football, but please don't try and keep pretending you're something you're not and then keep sniping. Everyone is welcome as long as they're honest (and yes, I know how many dishonest people post on NSC) but please be one of us and not one of them

Results are simple things.

2.16 points per game = more/better than 1.56 points per game.
6 games is not a big enough sample size to make any meaningful comparison. If Potter had stayed we would not now have a 2.16 average. If the comparison has to be with the same squad then no non subjective comparison can be made.

Imagine you had a friend whose girlfriend dumped him for a richer man. And then your friend got a new girlfriend and said “my new girlfriend’s so much better than my old girlfriend” would you disagree with them?

Swanny, Swanny, Swanny.
I have always enjoyed your take on The Albion and the world.
But come on, you must adapt to a post Potter Posting Place or piss off.
Continuing to push your Potter agenda is annoying everyone.

My guess is he will go for £75m ish in this window.

A lot of cash for RDZ to spend to bring in his own players in the summer.

And importantly, a chance for the board to thoroughly harden their stance on players leaving early-mid contract for next season onwards.

What stand are you in for the game tomorrow son? I'm in my STH seat in the West Upper, what about you? I'm looking forward to it despite all this.
