The more I read of this saga the more I think that Caicedo is the pawn in all of this. Yes, he’s naive and easily led, but I think his agent is the one who is 100% pulling the strings and dear, silly Moises is the patsy. I would like to believe that the club will not sell him (yet) and that Caicedo is taken to one side and given a good talking to about his responsibilities to his employer, his team mates, the coach and the fans. He might then realise what a complete shitfest he’s created and hopefully knuckle down, show everyone what a damn good player he is, and ultimately, be more professional in the way he conducts himself should any future offers come his way.

I suppose one can only dream if this scenario takes place.
RDZ spoke to him "like a father not a coach" on Wednesday to do just that . It`s bloody annoying that the stupid lad can`t see that the only people telling him the truth are the only ones he`s not listening to .

If that’s true then how comes players are allowed to just refuse to train?

I might refuse to go into work, see how that goes.
They’re not, but it happens. The options open to the club are to fine the player or ultimately sack them, but that’s not really in the club’s interest.

Also as reported elsewhere the club have told him to stay away so he’s not refusing to train.

Maybez. Not turning up for training may have other reasons. He wants to leave, that much is clear, but him not being at the training ground may as well be a club decision... we'll hear more about it soon enough.

The whole Trossard affair already made it clear that in Brighton these days, internal issues are settled externally. If the manager can sit at a press conference telling the world about the issues with a player, surely a player can go on social media telling the world about the (from his perspective) issues with a club. Hopefully TB or PB or someone gathers the people in the club and tell everyone to shut the f*** up and solve situations internally instead.
:lolol: not missing any opportunity to put your stiletto’s into RDZ.

I wouldn't be surprised if Romano gets a percentage from agents when a sale is forced through.
Could not train on Saturday? I know English isn't his first language but it is only just gone 10am when the team turns up for training and that was posted last night.

Do they though. Or have agents promised the earth to him and his family? I doubt him / his family have had much dealings with multi million pound contracts before and, unfortunately, it seems like his new agency have taken full advantage
Reminds me of that old joke :

What do you call 50 agents at the bottom of the sea ?

A start !

The player is employed contractually by the club and will be subject to the club's rules - players and agents are behaving as if it's the Wild West! You threated your employer that you are going to slag off them off, what do you think is going to happen?

Again, I don't have a problem with RDZ generally speaking but I'm also not one who'd buy scented candles smelling like his farts. The man has flaws like everyone else and his big mouth is not doing the club any favours, imo.

How so? We hold his registration. If contracts were worthless then Arsenal wouldn’t have offered us 60 million quid for that registration so they can offer him a ….contract.
See Trossard and Cucurella - As soon as a player effectively downs tools - which seems Caicedo has done if he hasn’t turned up for training today - it’s only a matter of time before they are off regardless of contract length. Normally a short period of time too.

We could of course just keep turning down bids. We won’t though.

Does Potter’s farts still smell like candles to you or can you whiff a little of the shit now?

It's quite possible for both to be true, and I fully suspect it is.

Caicedo's Mum: Moises isn't coming into training today - he's not feeling up to it right now.
Albion: No worries. Tell him he can have a few days off, and come back in on Wednesday morning.
