If it's for medical emergencies for people in the stands I am confused. Earlier in the season the authorities said they would stop stopping games as there was no need. I am inclined to agree as emergencies never used to interrupt matches and there is always help on hand in any case so it makes no difference.

In England yes. Might be a different approach in Portugal.
Agree it is usually no real need unless maybe it creates chaos in the stands.
