Guessing he might have to go somewhere first and get som managerial experience. Also wonky to become manager when you have a lot of old teammates/buddies still in the squad.
Dalglish at Liverpool comes straight to mind as somebody who managed to pull that off, I can't imagine there are many other examples.

Great interview, a class act is Adam.

What even better PR from the club with this one released today....

A show of strength from the club from the 2 people involved in the Trossard saga, even mentioning that some players just 'might not get it'.

The future is very bright.

I'm sure most of you have seen them, and that they are posted elsewhere, but the club have been releasing a batch of little q&a interviews with squad members and one of the questions is who is most likely to become a manager and everyone I've seen so far has said Lallana.

Not much of a revelation but does reinforce what a superb business getting him in was.

31 appearances 1st season
25 2nd
17 at the half way stage this.

Please don't get injured.

Think you may be right here. I can certainly see him on the coaching staff when he stops playing, much like Bruno, but then perhaps a Championship or so club with Uncle Tony keeping a close eye on his progress.

We don't seem to be doing the "Liverpool boot room". We have a succession plan but it seems to involve coaches who have been in charge at other clubs.

It'll potentially be a quick progression through the steps though. I'd honestly be amazed if Lallana doesn't coach Premier League within 5 years of playing retirement.

Graham’s always struck me as a great something. Just not an interviewer.

There’s a point in the interview where he talks about the whole system breaks down if one player isn’t at the races. No prizes for guessing who he was referring to…

He does seem to be a proper technique and tactics nerd, so that wouldn't surprise me in the least.

The discussion re Encisco was fascinating. Pretty clear how the club love MacAllister as well

Fascinating how there's ZERO transfer speculation around Mac Allister right now. He's loved by the club. And he loves the club, I think.

Wonder if Europa League qualification would be enough to keep him in the summer.

Anyway, great interview. Might seem self-indulgent but, by talking about his own experiences, Graham was able to get Adam to open up - and that's why it's so good.
