Me plus three… first time visiting Goodison, where is the away fan pub, and where to park?

Park the car on the main road A580 adjacent to Walton Hall Park. As for away pubs, no idea. I'm having to pick up my ticket. Away concourse is pretty tight. Goodison is very old school.

Make sure you have locking wheel-nuts.
Reminds me of the old Anfield joke.

Bloke parks his expensive car near the ground and gets approached by a couple of local kids.

' A fiver to look after your car mate?'

'Nah, you're alright', says the bloke with a smug smile... 'My Rottweiler's in there. I think he can handle it'.

'Oh, that's nice', says the kids...'Can he put out fires?'

I think it was a Stan Boardman joke, but not sure.

The Thomas Frost on Walton Road is a Wetherspoons and a short walk away but gets packed. I prefer the Arkles near Anfield which is about a 15 minute walk across Stanley Park. If it is a nice evening the fan zone next to the away end has beer (and toilets) and let’s in away fans.

I live in Liverpool, although our tickets haven’t arrived. We always park in the same place and walk about 15 minutes. There’s a red pub about ten minutes from the ground who always give the Scouse Seagulls a hero’s welcome.

Not many going!!!
They have already left.

You realize the match is tonight, right?

Edit: Better add 'that was a joke' before I'm accused of crying "Fog!"

Yeah, those pubs on Walton Road are convenient for Goodison. No away pubs as such but we haven’t had an issue there. We will go to the same one as last time but can’t remember what it’s called. The fan park at the ground isn’t great.

You can park about one minute from this pub for free, as it’s outside the no parking zone for the stadium, near the one stop shop.

Thanks for sharing! People will find that most helpful.

It was a Bally good effort old bean. Normally I’d leap out out of my skin, it’s exactly the sort of mistake I made.

Had this one ready though ;)
