Flippin'eck that bunch were even more lame than the tw@ts at Palace. There was only about 50 of them, and that drummer is the nightmare variety who just incessantly bangs away without to no discernible chant/song. Even an Arsenal mate at the game messaged me saying he wished the f*ck it would stop. However, I would still like a drum in the NS, but used sparingly and to get specific songs going...

Enjoyed that tonight back home way quicker than from the Amex. Brighton is becoming a big team No, I need players that can play in a big team (RDZ) quality.

It was enjoyable but it's a hell of a journey back - arrived home just a few minutes ago, three and a half hours after the match ended (and I only did that because the train was late getting into the station, if it had been on time, I'd have missed it).

I think I may go with Seagull Travel if I do that again

Two times in a row now, away from home, we've come from behind to win. That shows character and balls. The early signs are that this squad of players have fully bought in to RDZ and his methods.

Its not always going to work out, we're going to be on the wrong end of it as well. But I think overall, as this beds in, we're going to end up turning those frustrating attritional draws that we're so used to, into wins.

Its noticable already just how more swiftly we transition the ball, more one-touch stuff in the final third. The ponderous build-ups are rescinding, we look far more dangerous, swift and purposeful when we go forward.

From 1 to 11 all over the pitch we look quality, even with the young fringers coming in. I'm just trying to take it all in, because there has quite literally never been a better time to be a Brighton fan. This is by far the most talented group of players ever assembled by BHAFC, and the fact that now we have a new manager who can not only harness them, but push them on to even greater heights is, well, thrilling.

It's a very nice thing to wake up to see we've stuffed the team top of the league on their own patch.

Three things I like form my brief highlights watching and match report reading.

1) De Zerbi saying we're becoming a big club, no? It's only a small thing but it has such a positive effect on the players and fans.

2) Brighton end Arsenal's 12 match winning streak at the emirates. The previous team to beat them? Brighton!

3) I know this was only the league cup and between them the two teams made 18 changes to their weekend starting 11 but we have now played everyone of the 'big six' and have won three, drawn one with four of those games being away form home.

A bonus point: I saw a Japanese lad in last season's Brighton shirt yesterday. We're going global...

What the f***ing f*** was going on with that small persistent enclave of arsenal ultras.
Total f***ing embarrassment drumming and jumping around completely out of context to what was happening on the pitch. C**ts and probably hired by the club. A small very annoying blip on a magnificent evening.

A complete mess, traveling fans that can make a noise like Leeds, will rip the piss, Spurs and Chelsea will have a field day when they see them, even Palace will look at them and think “f*** me, we don’t look or sound like that (do we?) “

Those Arsenal “Ultras,“ the young ones dressed in black, attacked some Albion fans on the Holloway Road after the game on the way to Highbury and Islington tube. I was on the other side of the road and couldn’t see very clearly but someone said some women, who were with Albion fans, got caught up in this which makes this even more pathetic.
I hope no-one was seriously hurt. Not a policeman in sight.
